Lukas Fecker appointed new Director General of Velefarm - Dragoljub Vucicevic left the post at personal request

At the session of the Managing Board of Velefarm AD on Tuesday, Mr. Dragoljub Vucicevic, upon his own request, left the position of the Director General. As agreed with major shareholders of Velefarm, Dr. Lukas Fecker from Switzerland was named new Director General. Mr. Vucicevic remains the Chairman of the Managing Board of Velefarm.
Changes in the Management of Velefarm are caused by the changes in the ownership structure since the Management of this company has transferred a bigger package of shares to companies from abroad.
The interest of international companies in the shareholding in Velefarm is an indicator of the business prospects of the largest domestic and one of the largest wholesale companies in the region. Apart from this, besides reached agreements on the models of future cooperation with the largest medicines manufacturers in the country and abroad, the plan for international operations was also adopted in Velefarm and it's implementation has already started.
The positive operations of Velefarm in 2010 were also confirmed by the report of the Audit company Deloitte.
The international business will additionally strengthen and contribute to putting all the business potentials of Velefarm into full function.
According to the data provided by the Central Securities Register, the three biggest shareholders of Velefar are Farmacija Plus, Investfarm and Hemofarm.
