Mirko Vincetic owner and Managing director of IMO JUNIOR in Orasje, has won yet another award for his managerial skills – The Best Manager in the category of small enterprises.
This graduate of the University of Belgrade has a rich experience both in working for the government and private sector, being for more than 15 years in the latter. During his career he had the honor and privilege to be an associate of Ante Markovic in the former Federal Fovernment of the former Yugoslavia.
As far as favorite destinations go, he loves Opatija, a coastal town in Croatia, as he says, the most beautiful place in the world . He finds green color of the sea soothing.
Talking about himself, he points out that he belongs to a group of the fortunate ones, who in addition to the family has many good friends. He cherishes the moments spent with the popular singer Davorin Popovic. He is proud of the fact that some of his friends are businessmen like Dado Topic and Maja Perfiljeva. He is married and has two children. His son Igor studies at the University of Sports and is into music, while his daughter Monja studies business and does modeling aside.
People are either good or bad
Vincetic was born 1954 in Orasje. He actively sings in the local choir. He is not a member of any political party, and he divides people only in good or bad, lazy or hardworking, with good manners or without.
He used to write scientific papers published in Croatian The Economist. He speaks German and Russian. He is a member of professional and business associations including: Association of Employers of Bosnia and Herzegovina-Sarajevo, Serbian Association of Managers in Belgrade, Croatian Association of Managers (CROMA), Croatian Association of Corporate Treasurers, Slovenian Business Club, Croatian Business Club, Austrian Chamber of Commerce, German Chamber of Commerce, Nordic business alliance, an honorary member of the Chamber of Commerce in Skopje.
He has been a long-year representative of the Zagreb Fair in the Serbian market, and has worked as a representative of Mostar and Tuzla fairs in Serbia, contributing to bonding between countries of the region.
Vincetic has been a successful distributor for more than 10 years now, of the renowned German company ZARGES in the BiH market. His company, IMO JUNIOR, has promoted ZARGES’ line of products, scaffolding and aluminum ladders, in Bosnia as well as in the region.
His company is also an exclusive distributor of Swiss United Cash Black, dealing in VAT returns, while the Swiss company has a broad network of offices worldwide, from Europe, US, Africa to Asia.
Foreign tax credit
Bosnia's foreign tax return is a brand new and completely original business activity. IMO JUNIOR has introduced the unknown possibility of foreign VAT reclaim. That way, BH. firms that pay VAT abroad using different services (hotels, trade fairs, seminars, training, fuel, tolls, etc.), can claim the tax, which saves up one fifth of total foreign costs.
The audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers says that BH. economy leaves 100 million of tax money abroad.
The idea to reclaim foreign VAT, has been successfully implemented by Vincetic in the entire area of former Yugoslavia using the exclusive rights given by the Swiss United Cash Back. "The proportion our work takes is immense. It is enough to say that our clients come from all republics of the Yougosphere," he says.
At the international conference of Swiss Cash Back in Helsinki, Vincetic was named best manager in 2009 in the competition with 35 managers of Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
