
Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development announced it would sign the agreement on July 30 with Spanish hotel companies that would participate in the tourism development project on Stara Planina mountain.
The agreement with companies HG Hotels and Sol Melia and international investment fund Sigma Capital Management will be signed by Serbian Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mlađan Dinkić on the occasion of his visit to the building site of a hotel complex on Jabučko Ravnište on Stara Planini.
The Ministry of Economy points out that HG Hotels has more than 25 years of experience in hotel industry, and that it owns hotel chains and suite complexes in the most famous tourist destinations in Spain - Canary Islands, Tenerife, Sierra Nevada, La Molina.
Sol Melia is the world's leading operator of luxury hotel resorts and it runs over 300 hotels in 30 countries world wide and has more than 35,000 employees.
Sigma Capital Management has, so far, built four holiday hostels in Bulgaria, at the surface of 260,000 square meters, and thus invested over 150 million euros in that country. The author of plans for all investments of that company is hotel architecture leader WATG.
