The reconstruction of the existing and building new power facilities in the Federation, as one of the planned tasks in the agenda of the Federal Government, requires investors and investments. Relating to that, there is a possibility of cooperation with certain Chinese companies in terms of exchange of goods and technology - said Federal Minister Mustafa Mujezinovic to the delegation of Chinese corporate businessmen at the Guodian (China Guodian Corporation).
On Monday, Mujezinovic together with the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vahid Heco, received a Chinese delegation of one of the ten largest electric power companies in China, led by a vice-president Qiao Baoping, reported the Governmental Office of Public Relations.
The Chinese delegation is visiting B&H to consider possibilities of cooperation in the field of joint exploitation of energy.
Hoping that this meeting and discussions at the building of the Federal Government are a start of prolific cooperation, the officials also exchanged information about the mutual opportunities for establishment of relations in particular projects. Chinese officials were particularly interested in wind and solar energy, exchange of equipment for electric power facilities and modern, cost-saving, highly-efficient technology.
After a thorough insight the Chinese delegation obtained after the visit, Bosnian officials are planning on making a return visit to the Guodian Corporation, Beijing when hopefully the two countries will come up with more tangible forms of cooperation.
