
Building of production - business complex "Genim" in Krusevac started yesterday (20th of July, 2010). On the surface of 1300 square meters there will be facilities for production of hot coffee drinks and a storage for production of coffee based products imported by "Genim", it was announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
Director of "Genim", Igor Zivkovic said that the complex, whose construction started should be completed by November, and specified that it will employ twenty workers.
Zivkovic pointed out that "Genim" in Krusevac had been operating for five years, primarily as an importer of espresso coffee, and since last year as a beverage producer, whereas the goods are placed on the markets in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Croatia.
Minister of Trade and Services, Slobodan Milosavljevic attended the ceremony of placing the foundation stone.
- Access to transportation road Corridor 10 is vital for the arrival of investors - said the minister, estimating that the main task of the state is to provide for such cities like Krusevac, Kragujevac, Vranje and Sabac, a modern relationship with the roads.
He recalled that Krusevac, which had a qualified work force and huge resources, had been for decades an industrial center of Serbia, but that currently it has a high unemployment rate, but the connection with Corridor 10 can provide prosperity for this city.
