
Privatization Agency announced today (14 July 2010) the sale of "Genex" Tower in New Belgrade, owned by the company, "Generalexport" at the initial price of 15.6 million EUR.
Auction is scheduled for 6th of September.
"Genex" Tower consists of a commercial building area of about 15,897 m2, 6445 m2 of garage and adapted office space of 216 m2 in the Residential tower, a building connected to "Genex" Tower.
Interested buyers should submit their applications by August, 27th, for participation in the auction, with payment of deposits in the amount of 1.56 million EUR.
The buyer is obliged to accept in employment 61 employees in the "Genex" Tower, which was last year unsuccessfully offered for sale. At that time the initial price was EUR 20.8 million.
Company "Generalexport" has been in the restructuring since July 2007 and has sold so far most of its valuable assets - hotel "Continental", "Genex Apartments", power plant and tennis hall in Belgrade, as well as the hotel" Grand "and apartments" Sun Peaks "on Kopaonik Mt.
