 "Prijedorčanka" Company introduced a new brand of "Gazdina rakija”, available as of today on the Bosnian market. The brand was started in March last year, appearing for the first time not in Bosnian but in Serbian stores.
The newborn product has won awards for the best idea at the Brand fair in February this year, held in Belgrade. Executive Director of this processing fruit factory Ljiljana Vukelić, on that occasion underlined that the award was a significant step ahead of competition.
“Creating a brand` Gazdina rakija `, is significant on a larger scale. "With all my heart I wanted to launch a brand that will truly represent our company and this unique region, the origins of Prijedorčanka Company, " said Vukelić for eKapija.
The new brand offers eight types of high quality organic fruit brandies already present on the selective EU and U.S. markets. Consumers can choose from variety of “ Gazdina rakija" between pear , apricot, plum and quince brandy, juniper spirits and brandy made from cornel and raspberry.
Last year Prijedorčanka launched 50,000 bottles of brandy, with a new ambitious goal - to produce and sell another 100,000.
"Prijedorčanka” Company was founded in the seventies, launching the processing of dried plums, pure organic plum brandy, organic and aromatized syrups, carbonated beverages, as well as process of cooling and freezing fruit. During the eighties, the factory was modernized and has become a leading manufacturer of fruits in the region ever since.
