
International Building Fair with 1,000 exhibitors was opened today (April 13, 2010) at the Belgrade Fair.
The list of exhibitors at the 36th Building Fair includes 330 foreign companies from 30 countries of Europe and Asia.
The Fair was opened by Oliver Dulić, the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning.
The Fair is being held in eight halls at over 60,000 square meters and the whole outdoor exhibition space of the Belgrade Fair.
All fields of building business are present at the Fair - up-to-date materials, equipment, tools and machines, innovations in project planning and management, building systems, organization and maintenance of facilities, adaptation, reconstruction and equipping of interior.
The manifestation will also include national exhibitions for presentation of Italy, Greece, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Belgium, Hungary and Czech Republic.
The exhibitors who promote new technical-technological achievements will be given Nova Vizura award and special diplomas that are traditionally granted by the Belgrade Fair to the most successful exhibitors in five categories.
The program of the Fair includes expert meetings, while the central event for this year's visitors and exhibitors is the symposium named Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Construction in Serbia -
Current State and Prospects.
The manifestation will be opened between 10 AM and 7 PM, except on Saturday, the last day of the Fair, when the doors will be closed at 5 PM. The price of the ticket is 500 RSD, the ticket for group visits costs 350 RSD, while the ticket for all days of the Fair costs 900 RSD.
Free parking on Ada Ciganlija and free shuttle transportation by bus to the fairgrounds and back are provided for the visitors of the Fair, which will be opened prior to Saturday, April 17.
