One of the richest citizens of Azerbaijan, Telman Ismailov, is interested in investing in Serbia, primarily in the energy sector.
During his visit to Belgrade, Mr. Ismailov, the owner of AST Group, spoke on Friday to Petar Škundrić, the Minister of Energy, and the big delegation of businessmen also included Musa Bažajev and the representatives of ENRC, which is among the world's top six players in the field of research of ores, metals and minerals.
- These are the investors with large financial capital and they are interested in investing in the enrgy sector, exploitation of minerals and raw materials for production of non-ferrous metals - said Škundrić. - They are also interested in restructuring companies. I told them that the state did not intend to sell EPS, but to additionally capitalize it through partnerships.
