(Zlatibor)

The consortium of several Dutch companies, gathered under the name of Green Stone Estate, has bought 45 ha of land from private owners in Zlatibor's settlement Semegnjevo. The investor's intention is to have a luxury tourist complex built about 10 kilometers away from the center of a popular mountain.

One acre of land in Semegnjevo costs about EUR 500 at average. The investors explained to the municipal authorities in Čajetina that they intend to invest EUR 20m in construction of the complex. It is expected that the Dutch companies will forward the preliminary solution for the tourist complex to the Municipality in few days. The complex will comprise 120 luxury residences and suites, which will be built of natural materials - wood and stone, while the solar power supply system will enable environmental sustainability of the complex. Each residence will have the surface of up to 200 square meters, and the complex will also include its own stores, restaurants, sports fields...

People in the municipality of Čajetina point out that the complex will be unique in Serbia and hope that its exclusiveness will attract both domestic and foreign guests. The investors have presented the proof that they completed the financial framework for construction, while Čajetina is preparing the general land-utilization plan that will enable opening of an exclusive tourist complex in Semegnjevo.
