
The Government of Serbia signed the agreement today (March 4, 2010) with the European Investment Bank on approval of the loan of 200m EUR for investments in development of scientific and technological infrastructure.
After he signed the Agreement in the premises of Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SANU), Serbian President Boris Tadiæ said that the project for investments in the scientific infrastructure represented the investment in the future of Serbia.
Tadiæ pointed out that Serbia should provide another 200m EUR within next five years for realization of that project.
He invited other countries in the region to provide the funds for such investments that would contribute to development of the region and scientific cooperation.
