Public company Elgas in Senta has started the big campaign for expansion of gas pipeline network, which will include the households on the whole territory of the city. At the same time, the company also significantly decreased the price of connection.
People in Elgas expect that the number of users will be doubled in one or two years with the introduction of more favorable terms for connection to the gas pipeline network. Natural gas in Senta is now used by 1,714
households. In order to motivate the citizens of Senta to connect to the gas pipeline network, the company lowered the price of connection from 885 to 350 EUR, that is, to only 40% of the previous price. The lowest price of connection in Serbia includes the installation material only.
People in Elgas went one step further to help the future consumers of natural gas decide to use this fuel. Technical Director of Elgas, Žolt Nađ Zambo, and lawyer Milan Radonjić presented the project that anticipates the price of 1,480 EUR for households for connection to the city network, internal gas installation and installation of gas boiler of 24 kW for central heating. The price also includes the project-technical documentation and all necessary permits.
That investment will provide the households with the solution to the problems of water heating and central heating for their needs. Those who are not able to pay the whole sum at once can make the arrangement with Metals Bank and pay in 60 installments over the period of five years, while the monthly installment amounts to about 3,000 RSD.
People in Elgas announced that that favorable campaign would last prior to August 1st, but, depending on the interest and available installation materials, it may be resumed in the second half of the year. The city gas pipeline network should be expanded to 75% of the city territory.
