According to the Spatial Plan, construction of five multifunctional mini artificial lakes on the territory of National Park Kopaonik is in the pipeline, in the locations of Crveno Jezero, Kadijevac, Jablanova Ravan,
Gobelja and Šaklman. These lakes will be used for recreation (exclusive of sports fishing) and snow cannons.
In addition, the Spatial Plan includes the possibility of construction of few other small artificial lakes at maximum surface of 1 ha, for which the land-utilization plans of lower order will be made. Namely, in the protected zone of the National Park, construction of several small artificial lakes is in the pipeline, and they will be used, among the rest, for sports fishing, while the ones in the location of Kriva Reka will be used for recreation (possible system of small artificial lakes with aqua-programme).
