The students from Serbia will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with their colleagues from the prestigious British University of Cambridge and learn how the best among them can get scholarships, while the Cambridge students, the world's future business, public and political leaders, of which basketball team is coming to Belgrade to play the series of friendly matches, will become our ambassadors.

During their stay, between December 14 and 19, which is organized by company "Asseco SEE" under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, the Cambridge students will meet the Rector of the Belgrade University and the government officials, participate in the panel discussion about experiences and reforms of educational system, and play the matches with junior basketball teams of "Partizan", FMP and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

- Transfer of experiences and constant exchange of students with the world's top university centers help Serbia integrate into the global educational and scientific trends - said Mihail Petreski, a member of the Supervisory Board of "Asseco SEE", a part of "Asseco Group", which is one of the six largest computer companies in Europe, and announced that that company would initiate establishment of the fund for financial aid to students from Serbia who would study at Cambridge.

- During this visit, the students of Serbia will have the opportunity to get familiar with the future leaders' positions on the most various fields of scientific and public activities of the future leaders and establish direct contacts with them - said Nebojša Radić, a professor at the University of Cambridge and the coach of the university basketball team.

- This visit should stimulate young people in Serbia to think about further improvement and connection with other young people from all around the world.

The Cambridge basketball team, led by professor Radić, is made of 16 students of different interests, ages and nationalities. There is one citizens of Serbia on the team and, in addition to British citizens, the team also comprises the citizens of Slovenia, Greece, Cyprus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Denmark, Italy and France. The team will come to Belgrade accompanied with former students who visited Serbia for the first time five years ago and are now employed in the world's leading consulting companies.
