The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Mlađan Dinkić, said yesterday (September 2, 2009) that the dividing of Trstenik-based Holding "Prva Petoletka" into several independent companies was in the pipeline.
On the occasion of his visit to that factory of hydraulic and pneumatic parts and systems, Dinkić, who is also the Minister of Economy of Serbia, said that the team of the Ministry of Economy should visit "Petoletka" the next week and make the new organizational scheme of the company.
- "Prva petoletka" is not going to be a holding any more, but a group of independent companies that will operate independently in the market -
said the Minister.
The Privatization Agency of Serbia canceled the contract on sale of Industry of Hydraulics and Pneumatics "Prva Petoletka" from Trstenik to the consortium of companies led by "Lvivsky
Avtobusni Zavod" (LAZ) from Ukraine on May 22nd.
That was the third united tender for sale of the capital of "Prva petoletka" holding, its 11 dependent enterprises and six independent companies, while the first two tenders were declared as unsuccessful because there were no interested buyers.
Dinkić estimated that "Prva petoletka" had five or six parts that deserved additional investments, and that those investments would enable them to operate successfully and be removed from the subvention programme.
- If strategic partners interested in privatization appear after that, new tenders will be announced - said Mlađan Dinkić, the Minister of Economy of Serbia.
