New owner of the Grand Hotel and 'Konaci' suites of rooms on Kopaonik Mountain, 'MK Group', is planning to reconstruct those facilities and invest 4 million Euros in car park construction, provided that 1 million Euros is invested by the end of this year.
A representative of MK Group, Jaroslav Stuparski, confirmed the above mentioned in the conversation with journalists on Kopaonik Mountain.
Reconstruction of one part of rooms and suites of rooms is in progress. Reconstruction of aperitif bar and reception desk has also been planned.
Stuparski announced that the swimming pool will be shifted to another place in the Grand Hotel. He also announced construction of wellness center on 2,200 square meters.
Considering the suites of rooms Konaci, replacement of roof, renovation of equipment , reconstruction of kitchens in the suites as well as other necessary works in the suites have been planned, since nothing has been invested in the hotel for more than the last 20 years.
New owners emphasize that they will be ready for the next winter tourist season.
Stuparski said that engagement of new personnel has also been planned, in order to develop new forms of tourism and activate summer tourism, beside winter tourist season on Kopaonik Mountain, which last for only 90 days during winter.
