
Slovenian Nova Ljubljanska Banka (New Ljubljana Bank - NLB) announced yesterday (16/6/2009) a bid for takeover of 7.42% of NLB Belgrade Bank, and if takeover is successful, they will become 100% owner of the bank.
The bidder offers 12,587 dinars per stock of NLB Bank and the offer will be valid by 7/7/2009, as it was stated in daily newspaper Politika.
Nominal value of a stock of NLB Belgrade Bank is 6,000 dinars, and book value, on 31/12/2009 was 8,956.89 dinars. Avarage weightetd price on 11/6/2009 was 12,586.82 dinars.
NLB Belgrade Bank is a member of NLB, which strategic aim is extension of business to South-Eastern Europe.
On international tender in 2005, and on public tender, also in 2005, NLB acquired 99.5% of NLB Continental Bank Novi Sad. At the end of the last year, acquisition of NLB LHB Belgrade Bank by Continental Bank was finalized and the bank was called NLB Belgrade Bank.
Stocks of NLB Belgrade Bank on Belgrade stock-exchange cost 13,000 dinars, according to maximum ones from February this year - 13,950, and minumal ones 11,600, few days ago.
Market capitalization of NLB Belgrade Bank is now about 8.3 billion dinars.
