EKapija’s investment team has recently carried out the analysis and formedthe rank-list of the investments and investment ideas that drew the greatestinterest of the users of eKapija in 2008. The results are very interesting,with many surprises, and that is why we have decided to share these informationwith you.
The projects are classified into 10 categories, and this time we arepresenting the top 15 investments in the category of AGRICULTURE AND FOODINDUSTRY.
The first-ranked investment is project Hleb&Kifle, which has beenexpanding the chain of its recognizable gold-and-black bakeries in Serbia overthe last few months and loads the shelves of all well-known market chains withits baked goods and pastries. The second place is won by the project for construction of the state-of-the-artsglass greenhouse at 7.5ha for production of vegetables in Irig. Theinvestment is worth 2.5m EUR. The facility was built in association with Dutchcompany "Grow rasad", which owns half of the property, while theother half belongs to local company "Plantel", the parts of which areBelgrade-based company "RZ Agro", Novi Sad-based "Savacoop"and Subotica-based "Agro-Ferticrop".
The third is 30m EUR worth of investment of Delta Agrar in agriculturalproduction, while the fourth is the project similar to the first-rankedinvestment – YU point’s 220 bakeries and 50 coffee shops named Point cafes.
The next on the list are: the first premix factory in Serbia, realizedby company Sto Posto from Velika Plana, production of top-quality organic fertilizer(fly farm) in Belgrade, very interesting tuna fish factory in thevicinity of Niš, and Centroproizvod’s automated food factory in Surčin.
