EKapija’s investment team has recently carried out the analysis and formedthe rank-list of investments and investment ideas that drew the greatest attentionof the users of eKapija in 2008. The results are very interesting, with manysurprises, and that is why we have decided to share these information with you.
The projects are classified into 10 categories, and this time we are goingto present the most read articles in the category of AUTOMOBILE SHOWROOMS.
In this category the majority of global brands did their best to presentthemselves in the new light, in glamorous and attractive commercial complexes.In that way, they have sent very clear message to the market – how seriouslythey would like to position in Serbia.
The first-ranked investment in 2008 is Mercedes-Benz showroom at 25 ha inKrnješevci, in the vicinity of Belgrade, in which Mercedes Benz Serbia andMontenegro invested about 10m EUR.
The second is the investment of Novi Sad-based Global Auto, which opened exceptionalMazda showroom in the vicinity of the Orlovačka cloverleaf interchange, andit also announced construction of six similar facilities in Vojvodina.
The third-ranked is the investment of Belgrade-based company "Coning",one of the largest importer of tires on the territory of Serbia. This companystarted construction of about 6m EUR worth of automobile showroom of 5,200square meters alongside the Novi Sad Road, in the vicinity of theadministrative building of "Galenika" in Zemun Polje, in autumn 2008.
The next is the investment of company Porsche SCG, which resumed theiractivities in Belgrade and, in addition to its showroom near Ada Ciganlija,opened Porsche Beograd Sever on the Zrenjanin Road in Krnjača.
The fifth is the investment of Grand Motors – Ford I Volvo showroom in MilutinaMilankovilća Boulevard (Third Boulevard) in New Belgrade. The sixth is Hyndaishowroom at the same location, Volvo Truck Showroom in Novi Banovci isthe seventh, while BMW showroom in Karaburma, of whichconstruction was financed by Radulović Group from Belgrade, is the eight-rankedinvestment.
