The Ministry of Economy ordered the Privatization Agency yesterday (January 29, 2009) to immediately revise the privatization of Kragujevac-based company "Filip Kljajić".

- All disputes must be resolved right away, and Austrian investor "Wacker Neuson" should not suffer the damage because of the dispute that emerged from the privatization of company "Filip Kljajić" – the Ministry announced.

Austrian-German company "Wacker Neuson" was thinking about giving up the investment of 40m EUR in the factory of building machines in Lapovo because the workers, unsatisfied with the privatization of part of company "Filip Kljajić", kept the entrance to the rented hall in Kragujevac blocked for 10 days.

The workers of company ”Tehnika Tankosić" from Kragujevac, who ask for revision of the privatization of company "Filip Kljajić" and for payment of their late salaries, discontinued strike yesterday and made it possible for the workers of "Wacker Neuson" to enter the rented factory hall.

The entrance to the factory was unblocked after several hours of talks between the delegation of the trade union of "Tehnika Tankosić" and the Mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanović, and after the workers were promised the meeting with the representatives of the Privatization Agency.

After the entrance was unblocked, the Director GEneral of "Wacker Neuson" in Kragujevac, August Ornetzeder, said to the press that he was very satisfied because the conditions were created for continuation of production. He also said that that company did not give up the investment in Lapovo.

The Ministry of EConomy of Serbia pointed out that it would do everything it can to make it possible for the investor to continue realization of the project without any disturbances.
