Last month, Profit Center Mehanička Obrada (Mechanical Processing) of Kragujevac-based Zastava Automobili (Zastava Automobiles) had record production and export of transmission parts for Russian Automobile Industry VAZ. The factory in Toljati obtained 5,000 sets of transmission parts, which is 1,000 more than the usual monthly delivery. Mehanička Obrada signed contract with VAZ on annual export of 50,000 transmission sets worth about €1.5m.
