Raiffeisen Leasing Group in Serbia announced that, according to the data provided by the Association of leasing companies of Serbia, the bank had increased the amount of approved loans in the second quarter of this year by 11.23% against the last quarter of year 2007.

The greatest success was achieved in the segment of loans for procurement of commercial vehicles where the growth in the second quarter of the year amounted to 44.80% and in the segment of loans for procurement of passenger vehicles where the growth amounted to 21.45%.

Raiffeisen Leasing and Raiffeisen Rent have about 8,000 clients. In the SME segment, number of clients grew by 12.36%, while in the segment of large enterprises, which is pretty much developed, that number went up by 1.5%.

Raiffeisen Leasing group signed 15,134 contracts in this period, which represents an increase by 10.03%.

By the end of the year, Raiffeisen Leasing and Raiffeisen Rent expect growth of volume of approved funds, especially as far as various types of vehicles and equipment are concerned. Also, the main aim of the group is further strengthening and expansion of presence on the market.
