The representatives of the company "Embassy Group" signed the contract on building the IT park with the Municipality of Indjija.

By this contract on building the IT park it is stipulated that 60 mil Euros would be invested into the project and 2.500 work places would be opened.The Contract was signed by the President of the Municipality of Indjija, Mr. Goran Jesic and from the other side by the Member of the Board of this Indian company, Mr. Ramgopal Narayanan, and on this occasion, the Minister of Telecommunication and Information Society in the Government of Serbia, Ms. Jasna Matic was present, as well.

Mr. Jesic announced that the works will start, and the new object will be finished by thge middle of the next year.

The Municipality of Indjija allocate 50 h of land without any charges, and the Government of Serbia will provide the IT park with the necessary infrastructure. Mr. Narayanan said that after the finishing of this first phase, the IT park will operate at the surface of 25.000 sqm and will employee 2.500 people, and he also added that the company "Embassy Group" has already built the IT parks at the surface of 1,7 mil sqm in total.

In spite of all that, the IT center of this Indian company in Bangalore exports 14 billions $ USD per year of various hardware and software, comparing with the total export of India that is 70 billion $ USD per year in the IT sector, added Mr. Narayanan. He expressed his belief that the company "Embassy Gropu" will try to convince the biggest IT companies from the world to invest in Serbia and that the export from IT park in Indjija will come to the complete export of Serbia.

As it is planned, the total investments would be increased on 600 mil $ USD in the period of five year. When the project of IT park would be finished it will have 250.000 sqm of the business space on 220 h with 25.000 employees.
