- Public company "Pošta Srbije" is the first postal company in the Balkans and the 29th in the world that introduced SAP ERP software, one of the cutting-edge business softwares in the world - said the representatives of that company today. SAP ERP application in Postal Company of Serbia has been implemented by company "S&T" Serbia.
The Executive Manager of "Pošta", Goran Ćirić, said at the press conference that the introduction of new software was "excellent tool"
for improvement of operations of "Pošta", reduction of expenses, enhancement of quality of services and efficiency of collecting of payments.
- Thanks to the advantages of SAP ERP software, the conditions will be created for more efficient and better decision making and improvement of market performances of the company - Ćirić pointed out.
Representatives of "Pošta" pointed out that the application of SAP ERP system cost 820,000 EUR, and that that price did not include license, training, system maintenance and hardware.
"Pošta" uses SAP ERP modules for management of finance, procurements, stock, investments, as well as module for planning and analysis of business. In the structure of Postal Company, SAP software reaches the level of windows, which enables full monitoring of operations.
The project teams of Postal Company were trained for work in SAP ERP system and they passed their knowledge to 600 workers by organizing internal training that lasted for 6 months.
