The representatives of companies members of Hellenic Business Association (HBA) have appointed the new members of the Administrative Board, and the new President of the Association of companies with majority Greek capital is the CEO of company "Metal Globe", Vasilios Dertilis.

New members of the Administrative Board are: the CEO of "Metropol palace" hotel, Hristos Tsemberas, the CEO of "Megastores Electronica", Nikolaos Karakostas, President of the Executive Board of Eurobank EFG, Stavros Joanu, President of the Executive Board of Piraeus bank, Joanis Nikolopulos.

HBA was founded in September 2004. Its aim is to improve and support investments of its members, as well as to promote better cooperation between Serbia and Greece.

Primary mission of HBA is improvement of business relations between Greek and Serbian companies, as well as exchange of positive experiences from the operations in the region.

Greek companies are present on the market of Serbia for a very long time and they have , so far, invested over 2 billion EUR, which makes Greece one of the leading countries investors in Serbia.

Greek companies have been placing their investments in various sectors - from banking and telecommunications to food industry, hotel management, tourism, construction works and trade. They currently employ more than 25,000 people all around Serbia.
