The world leader in production of chips and leading manufacturer of computer, network and communication equipment – "Intel", has opened its branch office in Belgrade and that is the only office of this company in the Balkans.

Company "Intel" wants to broaden cooperation with the Government of Serbia in order to stimulate development of Internet and PC market, as well as development of educational programs intended for professors and students - said John E. The new office will stimulate activities of the company in neighboring countries. According to the words of John Davies, Serbia is also a part of global program of company "Intel" - "Intel World Ahead
Program", of which aim is that another billion people get chance to use Internet.
"Intel" represented new generation of processors in 45nm technology – "Intel Core 2 Quad" and "Intel Xeon", as well as "WIMAX"
technology, which is used for sending wireless signal utilizing databases of mobile operators.
