- Campaign "Volleyball and balls to schools"
is, I think, a good way to popularize volleyball even more, since that is a
sport that is known in Serbia for good results in the past few years. I remind
you that FIVB sent new balls “Mikasa” to Serbia, Brazil and Italy to test them
and I hope that we will be among the first to play with these new balls. I
would like to point out that we did not forget beach volleyball, which, at this
moment, has the status of amateur sport in Serbia. Because of that, our aim is
that Serbia has its beach volleyball team at the Olympics in 2012 – said Aleksandar
Boričić, President of Volleyball Association of Serbia and Vice President of
FIVB.
