New record of Airport "Nikola Tesla" - number of 1,000 flights per week exceeded

Airport "Nikola Tesla" announced on July 2, 2007, that the number of 1,000 flights per week had been exceeded and that the new record had been set.

From the beginning of the year until the end of the last week, total of 21,167 flights have been realized on the Belgrade Airport. That means that there has been average of 1,032 flights per week.

Airport "Nikola Tesla" also registers constant growth of number of passengers. The airplanes that took off from the Belgrade airport last weekend transported 10,000 passengers a day, while that number amounted to about 9,000 on the other days.
