Slovenian concern "Maxim", with the support from VIP Fund for Investment Support in Vojvodina, has signed the contract on construction of factory for hot zincing in Inđija. The value of the investment, according to the words of Branislav Bugarski from VIP Fund, will amount to 12 - 15m EUR in the first phase.
The investor rented the land of 8 ha on the auction in Inđija and the construction of the factory, as Bugarski pointed out, should commence within one year from the day the contract is signed. Completion is schedulled for the beginning of year 2009.
- The factory will first employ 50 workers and the investor plans to broaden production of containers later – Bugarski pointed out and explained that "Maxim" showed interest in investing in Vojvodina back in 2005, after the meeting that the Investment Support fund in Vojvodina had with the potential Slovenian investors. The meeting was organized by the Slovenian Ministry of International Economic Relations.
