As the daily Politika reports, the new ambassador of Serbia to Beijing will be Milan Bacevic, the former minister of natural resources, mining and spatial planning. It was speculated for some time that that position would be assumed by Predrag Simic, a professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences and the former Serbian ambassador to Paris. Politika writes that he was one of the candidates for this post.

Oliver Antic, an adviser to the Serbian president, is nominated for the ambassador to Lisbon, while Nebojsa Rodic, the former director of the Security Information Agency (BIA) and defense minister, is most likely going to Washington to take up the position of Serbian ambassador in the USA.
