Cooper Tires and Vino Zupa top 2013 list of exporters in Rasina Region

Companies Cooper Tires, Vino Zupa Aleksandrovac and Trayal Corporation top the list of ten largest exporters in the Rasina Region in 2013. Behind them on this list published by the Krusevac Regional Chamber of Commerce (RCC) are PPT Servoupravljaci Trstenik, Voce produkt, PPT Cilindri, Meneh Krusevac, Armature Aleksandrovac, PPT Hidraulika Trstenik, Kolarevic Pojate, and Krusevac-based Fabrika Maziva (Lubricant Factory).

According to Aleksandra Aleksic from the RCC, exports to the EU, CEFTA and Russian Federation account for the biggest portion of overall exports from Krusevac.

The data provided by the Krusevac Regional Chamber of Commerce show that Krusevac's foreign trade in 2013 totaled USD 400.88 million. Krusevac exported goods worth USD 202.05 million, up 19.9 percent from 2012, whereas overall imports totaled USD 198.83 million, up 19.5 percent from the year before.

- The Rasina Region registered a surplus of USD 3.216 million with the coverage of imports by exports amounting to 101.6 percent - said Aleksic. Its most significant export partners were Russian Federation, Great Britain, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.
