Dinkić: International tender for 063 network in mid-2006
Serbian Ministed of Finance, Mlađan Dinkić, said that the international tender for allotment of license for mobile network 063 would be announced in the first half of the year 2006, because the license had been taken away from company "Mobtel".
Dinkić reminded that company "Mobtel" had not paid any dividend to the State since it had been founded, 14 years ago, and he pointed out that "Mobtel" had admitted debt of about €28m for unpaid dividends, which would, with the belonging interest rates, exceed amount of €50m.
On December 29, 2005, the Government made the decision on redirection of means of "Mobtel" to the treasury of the State until €50m worth of dividends are fully paid – reminded Dinkić and added that, starting from that day, daily income on that account amounted to about 1 million CSD.
Dinkić pointed out that the Government of Serbia had not signed any contract with Austrian consortium led by Martin Schlaff on procurement of BK company and that, after the signing of the contract, it could not be said that the new company was Serbian-Austrian, but Cyprian-Austrian.
He explained that "BK Trejd" had been Russian company, with the headquarters in Moscow, which was bought by the Cyprian company. That means that Austrian consortium bought Cyprian and not Serbian company.
Dinkić accused businessman Bogoljub Karić that he had damaged State for about €700m citing yesterday’s criminal charges brought by Public Company for Postal Services and Communications "Srbija" against unknown suspects from "Mobtel".
