American Ametek expanding production in Serbia – New 10,000-m2 facility to open soon, jobs for 500

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced today that the American company Ametek would open a new factory in Serbia, where it would employ 500 people.

– This American company will open a factory on 10,000 square meters in the upcoming days, without subsidies and incentives – Vucic said to the press following his talk with Brian Hoyt Yee, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

He expects that there will be many more such American investments and points out that the American investors have come to Serbia thanks to its good business environment.

Ametek is operating in Subotica, where it has a facility for production of small engines.
