"Dijamant" plans to invest 50m EUR
In the past two years, ever since "Dijamant" from Zrenjanin became a part of the system of Croatian "Agrokor", over 25m EUR has been invested in equipment, installations, technology, distributive network and transport, and more than 50m EUR will be invested in development in the forthcoming period - said Brozović.
- Serbia is very interesting market for numerous multinational companies, especially for those in field of agriculture - Brozović pointed out and added that Serbian agrarian sector could completely satisfy the domestic needs, as well as achieve significant export results.
Therefore, the country would have to have more active role in the support to agriculture and accompanying industry, "it must be a moderator and apply all measures applied by developed countries when stimulating food production, so that we could use the comparative advantages of Serbia in the best way", Brozović pointed out.
Adapting to the terms of the demanding food market of the world, "Dijamant" significantly increased its level of operations, enriched its product portfolio and improved quality of products in the past two years.
