Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic says that the land register reform will be completed in 2017, making it much more efficient.

– I believe that we will be able to fully complete the land register reform this year – Mihajlovic said and added that numerous other jobs awaited the ministry – amendment to the Law on Bankruptcy Proceedings, which, as she says, is very important for the country's rating on the World Bank's Doing Business list, and then there are tasks related to the tax payment issue and further improvement of the inspections' operation.

– Along with the land register reform, these are the four most important things for us to do this year – Mihajlovic emphasized.

Citing the fact that administrative expenses of companies doing business in Serbia amounted to nearly RSD 130 billion a year, Mihajlovic said that they needed to find a way to reduce the amount.
