Cable car Gvozdac begins operating in Kopaonik

The cable car system Gvozdac was put into operation in Kopaonik today, making 22 cable cars and ski lifts available to skiers and snowboarders, the Ski Resorts of Serbia reported today.

A total of 36 ski tracks have been prepared, with 35 cm of groomed snow, the report adds.

The ski tracks in Kopaonik saw more than 28 thousand skiers from December 31 till January 5, which is definitely the best result achieved at the mountain.

December was also successful for Kopaonik hotels. According to the MK Resort data, attendance has increased by 20% compared to the corresponding period of 2015.
