Italian flooring manufacturer Labor Legno announces opening of new facility in Sremska Mitrovica
As reported by the Government’s PR office, Itlas is a subsidiary of Lebor Legno, one of the leaders in the production of wooden flooring and coatings in the Italian market, which opened a facility for primary processing and drying of wood in Sremska Mitrovica in November 2015. There are more than 20 employees, and the investment amounts to EUR 3 million.
According to Patrizio Dei Tos, owner of the company, they plan to open a facility for the finalization of the production and employing a considerably larger number of people, the report states.
Duirng his talk with the prime minister, Dei Tos emphasized that, traditionally, mostly family businesses operated in Veneto and that Itlas currently holds 15% of the production of flooring in Italy.
Itlas was founded in 29188 in Cordignano, in the province of Treviso.
