Italiana Costruzioni building a Science-Tech Park in Novi Sad
- An edifice is being built of 29.000 m2 of surface, of which 10,000 m2 will be taken by classrooms and laboratories of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, and the rest is meant for companies which originated in our faculty and which will employ there around 3,000 new engineers – said Dr Rade Doroslovacki.
He added that he had gotten information from the director of Italiana Costruzioni that the construction would begin in the first half of July.
- The entirety of the construction work will be carried out in cooperation with Amiga, with which we made a joint bid at the tender. Our company has been present in Serbia for over eight years and it's a great honor that we have been given an opportunity to operate in Novi Sad too, as this is the most significant area for the development of our local business activities – said the vice-president of Italiana Costruzioni Luca Navarra.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the mayor of Novi Sad Milos Vucevic, who emphasized that that was one of the biggest investments in the city in the previous ten years and that it's value was around EUR 12.6 mil.
Vucevic also pointed out that the construction work should be finished by the middle of 2018 if everything went according to the schedule.
