Law on Inspection Control takes effect

The Law on Inspection Control (ZoIN), which came fully into force on Saturday, April 30, stipulates a different relationship between the state and the economy, inspectors and businessmen, and focuses on preventive actions, the office of the deputy prime minister and minister of state administration of local self-government announced in a release.

According to the release, inspection teams are now expected to provide more expert and advisory support as well as to suggest prophylactic measures to prevent illegal actions and damages.

In case an irregularity is found, in most of the cases the subject is given certain time to fix it instead of being fined right away.
