Russians recognize tourist potential of Serbia - Regular Kaluga-Nis flights underway
Delegation of the Kaluga region which was escorting tourists some time before takeoff met with representatives of Nis and management of PC Aerodrom Nis. Governor of Kaluga Anatoly Dmitrievich said that very fast flights between Nis and that Russian area should become regular.
He said it is now up to tourist organizations which must put a lot more effort in organized departures from Russia and Serbia and vice versa.
- There are many options for cooperation, mainly medical tourism, sports and historical – Dimitrijevic outlined.
The mayor of Nis, Zoran Petrovic, said that some 20 million people live at the Kaluga area and that the number is a huge potential to set up tourist and economic cooperation.
He also said Russian tourists had a chance to visit Sokobanja, Prolom banja (Prolom spa) and Lukovska banja apart from Kopaonik and that they are very satisfied with what they saw.
