Frenchmen eye Serbian market - Delegation of 25 SMEs on three-day visit to Belgrade
The French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (FSCC) organized today in Belgrade, in cooperation with CCI Nord de France, a regional chamber of commerce from the north of France, a three-day visit of the delegation of 25 French enterprises, the FSCC said in a release.
The aim of this visit is to introduce French enterpreneurs to the opportunities for doing business in the Serbian market.
As it was announced, representatives of 25 small and medium-sized enterprises are currently in Belgrade, and most of these firms operate in the machining and automotive industries or are engaged in agriculture and food production, trade in medical equipment, and transportation.
As part of this visit of French enterprises, so far the biggest ever organized by the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Christine Moro, the French ambassador in Belgrade, is planned to receive the guests from France, while the economic department of the Embassy should introduce them to political and economic situation in Serbia.
In cooperation with member companies - French firms that already operate in Serbia, FSCC representatives have prepared a series of meetings and workshops for French businessmen to get them familiar with business conditions and opportunities in Serbia.
In that way, French representatives will learn more about the presence of French companies in Serbia, hear the experience of French firms that already operate in Serbia, and get more information on the leading sectors as well as banking and legal requirements for doing business in the local market.
Participants in this program are French companies which have been operating in Serbia for a long time now, such as Lesaffre, Societe Generale Bank, the law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel (Maric Malisic Dostanic), Xpro, Sanders, Streit Nova, Hit Auto, and Axereal.
