Beko to hire additional 100 people - Possible commencement of production in Serbia
- Beko came to Serbia with a long-term development and business expansion strategy, and what we expect to do in the first phase, within the next few years, is to hire more than 100 people. We are sure that this ambitious plan is feasible because our products use the latest technology available to every consumer, while some of the technological solutions we're bringing have no precedent in the Serbian market - said Atakol.
A new line of Beko products in Serbia is based on global trends in technological innovations in the domain of household appliances. Consumers in Serbia now have a chance to use Beko products that save both water and energy, such as washing machine with ProSmart Inverter motor that consumes 70% less energy than other machines of the highest A+++ class.
- As far as our plans for starting production in Serbia are concerned, we would really like to discuss this idea. At this moment, this decision depends on the fulfillment of our business plans. When we come closer to the No.1 spot, we will also take this possibility into consideration, for which we enjoy support of the Serbian government - said Arel Atakol.
Beko is the second largest European home appliance brand and the fastest growing brand in this sector. It is an international home appliance brand of the Arcelik Group which operates 14 home appliance factories employing 26,000 people all around the world and branch offices in 27 countries.
