Kragujevac-based Fiat to halt production between June 23 and July 1
It is the first production halt in FCA Serbia this year, and the reason is somewhat lower demand in Europe and North America.
Assembly lines will be started again July 1st, but another halt in production, about ten days long, is expected next month, and it can be avoided only if some of the European or American dealers place a bigger order. It is for sure that the employees of Kragujevac-based factory will also go on a traditional collective annual vacation in the first three weeks of August - from August 3 to 24, just like their colleagues in all Fiat companies around the world.
