MK and Matijevic are setting up consortium for acquisition of PKB
Based on a long-term cooperation and extensive experience in the field of agriculture, MK Group and IM Matijevic are planning to merge their capital, knowledge and experience and set up consortium of these two companies as an interested buyer for the acquisition of PKB Korporacija AD Padinska Skela. The idea of setting up consortium refers to creating of respectable local buyer in the privatization process which will be equal bidder to other local and foreign investors, it was stated in mutual announcement of two companies.
MK Group is one of the leading companies in Serbia whose core activity is production and trading in agricultural products. With more than 30 years of experience it is ranked among the biggest and strongest companies in domestic agriculture and IM Matijevic has been present at Serbian market since 1992 as one of the biggest producers of meat and meat products. Together with companies in agricultural field, as liable entities, IM Matijevic is also one of the leading companies whose core activity is production and sale of agricultural products, it was announced.
