Telenor bank has 50.000 current accounts already
Telenor bank opened 50.0000th current account since in September last started operating at the market of Serbia which ranked it among the fast growing mobile online banks in the CEE region.
In the first six months, the bank succeeded in forming solid base for further development of mobile banking thanks to synergies of telecommunications and financial services with an average monthly rate of the opened current accounts of 53%, Telenor bank announced.

At the global level, mobile banking concept led to changes in the way users do their
banking affairs. These changes are visible in Serbia as well since the usage of
mobile banking as of the moment of Telenor bank opening, has been recording
quarterly growth from 6,0-12,0% to 24,0-31,0%, according to data of the
National Bank of Serbia.
In Telenor bank, all citizens of Serbia can open multi-currency current account with contact-free debit , Mastercard card, to change money at favorable exchange rates, send funds abroad and do other kinds of payments.
Citizens are provided also with flexible savings upon visit in dinars with and interest rate of seven percent, with monthly yield of calculated interest rate.
