Competition for tourism development subsidies released

The Ministry of trade, tourism and telecommunications of Serbia has announced today that it is releasing public call for subsidies and dotation for funding projects in tourism development for 2015.

As it was stated at the website of the Ministry , the right to use grants is provided for tourist organizations, “destination managerial organizations, companies whose others whose founder is the Government or a self-governance unit.
It was added that legal entities where RS is majority owner, legal entities which manage tourist space or facility of tourist infrastructure and supra-structure for development projects can apply.

-Projects which provide promotion of tourist offers and tourist space and support to development of receptive tourist and catering offer, development and implementation of statistical researches and methodology of satellite accounts as well as education and trainings in tourism will be considered – it was written in competition text.

Funds are planned for development of plan documentation in line with the Law on tourism, development of plan and project documentation, maintenance of construction land or development of the existing utility infrastructure as well as for maintenance of public areas and land for general recreation.

The Ministry of tourism outlines that requests for grants can be submitted for installation of tourist signalization, reconstruction, construction and equipping of tourist infrastructures and facilities as well as for implementation of special tourist needs.

Request to use subsidy and dotation is to be submitted to the Ministry of trade, tourism and telecommunications, solely via post or archive of the ministry.
