"Telekom Srbija" fulfilled all financial obligations related to third operator license in Montenegro
- Consortium of "Telekom Srbija" and Dutch company "Ogular" settled all obligations for the license of the third mobile telephony operator on the territory of Montenegro on Friday (April 20, 2007) – Serbian "Telekom" in Podgorica announced.
According to the announcement, the obligations related to the license for use of so-called “WiMax” technology on the territory of Montenegro have also been settled.
The consortium will operate in Montenegro as Telecommunication company MTEL, which will soon offer the services of GSM and UMTS network to the citizens of Montenegro, as well as services of landline telephony Internet, based on WiMax technology.
