The company Voli opened a logistics-distribution and collection center in Podgorica, and EUR 11.8 million was invested in the 16,000-m2 facility.

The chairman of the Boards of Directors of Voli, Dragan Bokan, said that they could now stand shoulder to shoulder with the most developed systems abroad.

– We now have capacities to buy out a complete contingent and export the surplus amounts. Having talked to the partners from the region, I know that there is interest and willingness. The options are open, and one of them is compensation import and merchandise trade which will reduce the deficit.

Bokan stated that the center was the apex of the strong partnership between Voli and the European Bank.

– Whenever Voli is mentioned, the first thing usually noted are the 2,116 workers. It is a responsibility to be the biggest company looking by the number of employees. If we are talking numbers, it is also important that we have invested over EUR 22 million in 18 months – he added.

The facility has 21,000 pallet spaces, of which 16,000 in the ambient regime and 5,000 in the cooling regime, as well as 13 cooling chambers in the regime of -25 to +4 degrees Celsius, chambers for meet, fruit and vegetables.

The latest equipment has been installed at the 38 loading and unloading platforms, as well as the best quality HTC floors, pallet racks, forklifts and WMS – software for managing the flow of goods in the warehouse.
