Business towers are sure to become symbols of Belgrade in a few years, and the structure in New Belgrade’s block 65 will become one of the architectural attractions. The tower with 33 floors, with an area of around 33,316 m2, will be raised within the West 65 project. It will contain office space, a commercial section with offices, a hotel and business apartments. A shopping mall will be raised along with the tower, as well as a large underground garage.

As we’ve learned at Farley, the investor in this project, the shopping mall will have three floors with an area of 20,645 m2. A two-level underground garage will be located below the shopping mall and the tower, with a gross area of 17,408 m2 and 580 parking spaces and accompanying technical facilities.

The investor has acquired a building permit and is planning to start building in the final quarter of 2017. They intend to complete the construction in three years.

The project of a residential-commercial complex in block 65 envisions the construction of more than 150,000 square meters of residential, commercial and office space. So far, 5 residential facilities have been completed, and the remaining six are to be completed in the next year.

The complex has been designed by the renowned London studio Fletcher Priest Architects.

Usce twin

MPC Properties will start building a twin tower to the former Central Committee building in New Belgrade’s block 16 next year. The facility will be 103.9 meters tall and have 22 floors, three fewer than the current office facility, but identical in total height.

The new building is to be raised next to Nikola Tesla Blvd, with office space and a restaurant on the area of 28,000 m2. A large two-level underground garage with 750 parking spaces is also planned.

The design for the new Usce tower has been prepared by the Chapman Taylor architectural studio.

The construction of the Belgrade Tower, to be the tallest building in the Balkans, started this April. The Belgrade Tower will contain 50,000 m2 of area, 40 floors and will be taller than 160 meters. Aside from hotel features, the facility will contain residential units, and the tallest lookout in Belgrade, providing a panoramic view of Serbia’s capital, will be its biggest attraction.

This multifunctional complex will contain a total of 222 residential units, with the luxury hotel St. Regis taking up 9 floors and containing 125 rooms and apartments. The hotel will contain a restaurant at the top of the building, the St. Regis bar, a spa center, a pool and a meeting hall. A two-level underground parking lot will be available to apartment owners and hotel guests.

The project has been designed by the renowned American company Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LPP (SOM).
