The fifth lab which was renovated with the funds of NIS and Gazprom Neft and with the support of the Foundation Novak Djokovic, was officially opened on Monday, November 16 in the grammar school in Svilajnac.

That chemical cabinet was rehabilitated within the mutual project of renovation of school laboratories for physics and chemistry in schools damaged in last year’s floods in Serbia, NIS communicated.

NIS, Gazprom Neft and Foundation Novak Djokovic previously renovated and equipped four laboratories in Obrenovac, Petrovac na Mlavi, Ub and Lazarevac.

By the end of the year, five new school cabinets more will be opened – in Krupanj, Smederevska Palanka, Valjevo, Sabac and Paracin.

The amount of donation provided for this purpose by NIS and Gazprom Neft totals more than RSD 30 m and employees of these two companies also participated in the activity for collecting funds for the support of people from flooded areas.
